We are looking for
The Environmental Policy Group of the Department of Social Sciences at Wageningen University has a strong international profile in research and education in the environmental social sciences. Our 15 staff and over 35 PhD students focus on topics relating to sustainable consumption and production, sustainable natural resource use and global environmental governance. We have a strong international orientation, with research conducted at the global level as well as in various countries across Europe, Africa, Asia/Pacific and the Americas.

Assistant Professor (tenure track) in Environmental Social Sciences
We invite applications for a tenure track position of Assistant Professor in Environmental Social Sciences. The person appointed to this position will be responsible for teaching Bachelor and Masters-level courses, supervising PhD students and conducting internationally oriented research. Applicants with a doctorate in sociology, political science, human geography, or environmental studies with a strong social science component, and with a research and education profile that matches one or more of the research themes of the Environmental Policy Group (see www.wageningenur.nl/enp) will be considered for the position. Researchers working on topics relating to e.g., the green economy or EU environmental politics are encouraged to apply.
