The School of International Development at the University of East Anglia (www.uea.ac.uk/dev) is recruiting as part of its strategic plan to build its internationally recognised research on environmental change and international development.

Preference will be given to candidates whose research fits within the research clusters focusing on one or more of the following: climate change, water security or global environmental justice, and who can demonstrate an ability to work in an inter-disciplinary research and teaching environment. Applications are also welcomed from candidates working in related fields, such as food security, energy, disaster risk or natural resource management.

You must have a PhD or equivalent level of qualification in a relevant natural or social science discipline or subject area, and be able to satisfy all the essential criteria detailed in the person specification for the post.

The post is available on a full time indefinite basis from 1 February 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter.
